Do I need to register my school bag for the warranty?
No. The 4-year warranty automatically begins on the purchase date of your new McNeill satchel. No registration or prior upload of a purchase receipt is required.
However, please keep your order number or purchase receipt safe so that your purchase can be clearly identified in the event of a warranty claim.
Which products does the 4-year warranty apply to?
The 4-year warranty applies to all newly purchased McNeill school bags. For other McNeill products, the warranty conditions stated on the respective product apply.

What do I do if my school bag is defective?
Send us an email at service@mcneill.de. In order for us to review your case quickly, we need:
- your order number or proof of purchase
- a brief description of the damage
- meaningful photos of the affected area
Our quality management will review your request and then contact you with the next steps.
What is covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that occur during normal use.
Normal wear and tear and damage caused by improper use are not covered. This includes, for example, sitting on the satchel, exposure to extreme heat, willful damage, or cleaning in a washing machine.

✓ Covered: Manufacturing and material defects, seams, zippers, carrying system and fasteners.
✗ Not covered: Normal wear and tear, improper use (e.g. sitting on the school bag, extreme heat exposure or moisture).
